When you’re taking a big bite out of life, you gotta be careful (just a reminder).
Welcome to a world of new sounds for your heart and soul in this issue.
We're going to a lot of places, emotionally and geographically this time round!
First off, we at Know Noise wanted to bring you a fabulous violinist who totally
understands Led Zeppelin. It’s very quick but I think you’ll have to admit Nina DiGregorio rocks as hard as Jimmy.
“Whole Lotta Love” - Guitar Solo Cover on electric violin
One of my favorite young bands around who carry the rock/pop/alternative country
tex mex torch around - The Last Bandoleros. From New York and Texas, with two
brothers on bass and drums rounding out the rhythm section, it's their harmonies and pop sensibilities that make them rise and shine.
Here’s ”I Don’t Want to Know”
This next song just makes me want to open all the windows and Hit the Road.
It's Those Damn Crows from Bridgend, South Wales. Here’s “Set in Stone”
Going out on a limb here…This next work had to be included in this issue because of the emotions it may stir in
you. It's more than a song, more than just a mood piece, and it does require some
investment, but we at Know Noise think the pay back is quite significant. There's a
beauty, a foreboding... and what at first appears to be upsetting and morbid, truly
ends up steering one towards a profound gratitude and appreciation.
You know how we all need to put ourselves in someone else's shoes(?)...
Maybe going around the world to another place & culture to understand their take
on life and death. Keep that in mind when viewing the Finnish prog trio
Von Hertzen Brothers with ”All of a Sudden, You’re Gone”
We'd love to hear your thoughts on this piece of art from the Von Hertzen Brothers.

Here's a voice I've always loved, and finally Canada's Brandi Carlile is nominated for
a Grammy. What's funny about this song... I cannot remember when a popular
song had a retard incorporated into it. Broadway tunes often have them - but top
forty - Never. This is beautiful…
Brandi Carlile - “Right On Time”
Now, this is next one is one of the best pop songs ever. And what's remarkable is
that Grand Funk Railroad's Mark Farner has taken such good care of the voice the
Lord blessed him with… how he could sound better now than he did in 1975? This man’s got some serious rock chops. Check his live performance.
Mark Farner with "Bad Time"
Because we’re just building the soundtrack to our lives together...

With all kinds of love…
til next time.
